Suspect Apprehended at Kim Kardashian's Hidden Hills Residence Following Reported Burglary and Vehicle Theft

Arrest Made at High-Profile Residence

An individual was taken into custody at the Hidden Hills, California, estate belonging to reality television personality Kim Kardashian following reports of a residential burglary and vehicle theft. Deputies from the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's station responded to the incident on the 24800 block of Long Valley Road just before 4 p.m.

Upon their arrival, officers located and apprehended an adult male identified as Trey Mendel. He was reportedly observed placing multiple items into a vehicle at the property.

"Upon arrival, deputies located a white male adult — Trey Mendel — and placed him under arrest for burglary and taking a vehicle without the owner's consent," authorities stated.

Mendel was subsequently transported to and booked at the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station, where he remains in custody. The charges include burglary and taking a vehicle without the owner's consent.

Officials confirmed that the investigation is ongoing and its findings will be submitted to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for consideration of formal charges.

The Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station Detective Bureau is encouraging anyone with relevant information to come forward and assist with the inquiry.

Kardashian's Hidden Hills Estate

Kim Kardashian resides at the sprawling Hidden Hills property with her four children: North, Chicago, Saint, and Psalm. The opulent mansion was initially acquired by Kardashian and her former husband, Kanye West, in 2014 for an estimated $20 million.

Following their divorce, which was finalized in November 2022, Kardashian purchased West's share of the estate, including its contents, for $23 million as part of their settlement.
